A little green café offers a unique style of healthy homemade dishes that can be quickly prepared with the highest quality ingredients and nutrition.
Their menu has been created for everybody who wants to eat healthily and feel great.
We know that food is the best medicine, everyone can improve their health, prevent illness, live longer by eating healthy rich food in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. We believe that healthy, homemade food makes a difference for everyone. Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food.
NOTE: This review experience is based on Bloggers Invite Event and the food was on the house but experience and reviews shared are honest and unbiased in the interest of fellow readers and foodies.
Pleasantly greeted by Mr.Bikash Partik, we started off with a healthy discussion about the café and the interiors, The interiors are very attractive, and the best part is, it is made of natural elements, it is a very peaceful and pleasant cute café. The rustic green color and mood are maintained throughout and ample lighting as well(the café name says it all) Décorated with plants in and around the café that grabs your immediate attention if you are plant lover like me. As we were seriously discussing, we were served with their cold smoothies-starting off with
MUSKMELON AND ROSEMARY SLUSHIE- a clear fresh smoothie out of muskmelon which was absolutely fresh and relishable, could easily get the flavour of rosemary which in fact was with no sugar though foodie in me is not a big fan of it.
WATERMELON AND BASIL-This were my favourite amongst all, flavors were strong.It was refreshing, doesn’t require sugar though.
LEMON AND MINT COOLER WITH BASIL SEEDS -Very healthy and definitely refreshing ( Detox Water).
The drinks amazed us already, we went into Soups and Broths.
MUSHROOM CAPPUCCINO-The play of flavours was interesting. It was tasty, frothy and had a perfect consistency. Mushrooms add the right kick to the espresso.
Little did we know we were in for a delightful journey in each dish. Now let’s move on to the Appetizers.(MY FAV PART):p
LITTLE TIKKIS- While it looks simple, The taste of Beetroot, Quinoa and feta/ricotta and sautéed veggies are brilliant. The dish has WOWed me as it looked a normal dish from the menu but yes it had flavours though. The tikkis were favorable without mint chutney.
MEZZE PLATTER- The dips in the dish were Beetroot hummus, Chia seed hummus, Tahini ( the bread spread made from ground sesame seeds)and homemade multigrain bread. It is a healthy & nutritious blend of perfection in hands tossed together with love & yes spices of course. So be a game & try it!
One from the breakfast menu, EGG SOUFFLE served with toast, sautéed vegetable, and grilled tomato. This was my favourite dish for the noon. The fluffy texture calls for more of it, Of course, it was Bland but the sautéed veggies and the Toast compliment each other. This should be crowned.
SEMOLINA WAFFLES WITH MINT CHUTNEY AND TOMATO RELISH you know your flavours are bang on but the experience is different, Not gonna WOW you but its fun to play on a staple of Indian Cuisine – MUST TRY.
I guarantee you will like it! It is too healthy!
For the Main Course, we got to try THAI GREEN CURRY WITH SEMI-POLISHED KERALA RICE-It gave a completely different experience with Kerala rice, it was tasty though! It was cooked using Fresh aromatic vegetables drenched in some amazing Thai curry. I felt Thai curry was cooked to perfection, but my fellow bloggers suggested for more thicker version.
Definitely impressed us big time and the single portion for a meal is good.
As we wrapped up the lunch, we were served with the Dessert-PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE TART, trust me it was not too sweet, but that perfect healthy blend of flavours, which definitely brings a smile and crave more of it.
The menu has been created from the heart and is for everyone: vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, and green-raw smoothie drinkers.
I would always recommend this place for those health conscious people and will go back here to try more.
